Azek is an expanded rigid PVC material designed to replace wood in virtually every non stress bearing application. Azek, with a density similar to white pine has a small-cell microstructure, which gives the product a unique range of physical properties; the most exciting of which is its texture and uniformity. For outdoor house trim applications such as soffits, fascias, flat casing, custom millwork, corner boards, and columns Azek offers weatherability features not found in any known woods. These features include resistance to rot, moisture, splitting and de-lamination. If desired, outdoor trim and mouldings can be finished with recommended latex paints, offering a result that will outlast conventional paint on wood.
